BOOK CLUB
Guided exploration of The Anti-Bias Approach in Early Childhood (4th edition).
Four live Zoom workshops hosted and facilitated by members of the SJIEC Foundation Board and Social Justice Emissaries
Pre-reading of chapters allocated prior to the workshops
Reflective questions shared prior to the workshops
Opportunity to share learning, thinking and reflections with colleagues through break out rooms
Members will have access to two live Zoom webinars throughout the year.
– ‘Political advocacy: letter writing and other big ideas’ with Dr Red Ruby Scarlet, Stephen Gallan and Catherine Samson (5/6, 7-8pm AEDT)
– ‘Everyday advocacy and activism in early childhood spaces’ with Sarah Louise, Alistair Gibbs and Dr Rachel Chapman (11/9, 7-8pm AEDT)

Members are encouraged to submit a blog post on a social justice in early childhood issue, highlighting practice, sharing knowledge and/or celebrating your work.
